For some students in Broken Arrow, their school year is off to an exciting start in a brand-new building.
In the new Timber Ridge Elementary school, you can actually read inside the wall in the library - it's called a "book nook." The library also has padded seating with a view and tons of books.
It's just one of the rooms in the colorful new school full of little ones ready to learn.
The gym, with shiny new floors and thick walls, doubles as a FEMA Safe Room.

Almost 30 percent of students at Timber Ridge are English Language Learners, which is more than any other school in the district.
Principal Tiffany Green, who can speak Spanish, said that's not the only thing that sets Timber Ridge apart from other schools.
"It's very colorful, very child-friendly. It's to help them maneuver through the building. So, every pod's a different color so it really helps our littles who aren't able to read yet be able to maneuver through the building and find their way quickly," she said.
There are about 600 students enrolled at Timber Ridge, but there's room for growth, with enough space for about 850 students one day.
