Stay weather aware, Green Country! Severe storms will continue to develop across much of eastern Oklahoma through the afternoon and early evening hours.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is now in effect until the evening hours Thursday across the majority of eastern Oklahoma. Large hail and damaging winds will be the biggest threats, but a few tornadoes are not out of the question as well.
Localized flash flooding could also occur as storms could drop 1” to 2” or more in a short time. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for northeastern Oklahoma until early this evening.
