A man charged in a 2013 Tulsa murder has been arrested in Maryland. Jordan Batice Mitchell is being held in the Anne Arundel County Jail.
Authorities there said Mitchell was taken into custody around 12:30 a.m. Monday, April 24. Ann Arundel police said they searched a suspicious vehicle Mitchell was driving and found a 9mm handgun, a 30-round magazine, heroin, crack cocaine and $740 in cash.
Mitchell gave them a false name, but his identity was discovered when he was fingerprinted, News On 6 was told. That's when Maryland authorities learned he had a first-degree murder warrant in Tulsa County.

Mitchell is wanted in the September 27, 2013, death of Christian Patrick Dehart, 22. Dehart was shot and killed during an armed robbery in the garage of a south Tulsa home. Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker said at the time that the suspects were after drugs and that there was no indication Dehart was the intended victim.
Two other men were wounded but survived.
Mitchell, 23, had been arrested in the murder in 2015 but was released on bond. The district attorney filed a motion to have the bond increased, but Mitchell had already taken off.
