Victim Identified In Creek County Fatal Shooting

Creek County Sheriff's Office has asked the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to assist after deputies found a 61-year-old man shot to death southwest of Mannford Tuesday morning.  

They say Ronald "Rocky" Bethel was killed at about 9:30 a.m.

Deputies say the shooting happened outside Bethel's home in the 9200 block of South 417th West Avenue.  

OSBI along with the sheriff's office say they have interviewed numerous individuals in connection with the shooting.

Olive Schools located nearby were placed on lockdown as a precaution, but that lockdown has since been lifted.
