A 17-year-old Broken Arrow boy has died after a sand tunnel collapsed on him.
Travor Brown was found Wednesday trapped in a sand cave he’d dug on Panama City Beach in Florida.
Emergency responders say it’s unclear how long he was without oxygen. Witnesses say medics worked to revive the teenager for 20 minutes.
Brown was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Doctors told his family Brown didn’t have any brain activity.

A family friend, Joshua Herrington, told us Brown’s mother made the decision to take him off life support and ‘let him go home to Jesus.’
Herrington said, “I want you to know that this young man loved God and loved life. Kids loved and adored him.”
Herrington said he hopes Brown’s friends and family will live by the thing Brown was known to say, "Wassup with all the negative vibes? Stay positive."
“He has touched so many lives,” Herrington said. “I just wanted you to know what kind of young man this is. You hear so much negative talk about today’s youth... Not with this one. He was a lover, a light in the dark world, and will be forever missed.”
An online fundraising site has been set up for the family to help pay for transporting the body, medical bills, and funeral costs. You can reach it by clicking here.
