An Oklahoma man is reunited with a high school class ring after a nearly 30-year separation.

Tom Brown lost his class ring without knowing one day and Friday, thanks to social media, they were reunited.

Jarrod Vanderslice found the ring 26 years ago inside a pickup truck Brown sold to his family. Vanderslice had the ring since then but recently decided to use social media to find its owner.

Now, the 1983 ring is back where it belongs.

“It's my class ring, Jared took the time out of his life and this crazy world to post that on there, cause he wanted to find the owner of that. I think that shows the integrity of the people around here,” Brown said.

Brown said he probably lost the ring while working on the pickup.
