The Oklahoma City Thunder is close to wrapping up the regular season next week in San Antonio, and the team has built up some good momentum in an attempt to finish strong.
“We lost the game last game so [that] momentum is gone according to everyone else,” said Thunder mainstay Kevin Durant. “But no, we been playing well.”
Durant says although his team lost last weekend, they played well. But two things caused their downfall.
“Defense has been good,” Durant stated. “The last game, we shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers and offensive rebounds and that's something that we can control, and it's something that we can definitely fix. So it's not a problem if you know it's something deep down inside that's been brewing over a long period time.”
Durant says that’s the main reason, as a team, they lose ballgames.
“We usually lose games because we turn the rock over,” he explained. “We don't rebound, you know. Stuff like that, so it is what it is.”
Tip-off will take place in the AT&T Center April 12 at 7:00 p.m. CT. But first, the Thunder will face off against the Denver Nuggets, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, and Los Angeles Lakers.
