A house that appears to be abandoned caught fire late Friday morning.

The flames were contained to the front of the home, located at 4th and Yale, but there is smoke damage throughout, officials said.

The Tulsa Fire Department said 10 companies – 30 firefighters – responded to the fire.

There were several heat sources inside, although it appears no one was living in the home, TFD Capt. Troy Enger said.

Ongoing road construction posed a challenge, but crews made room for the fire trucks to access the house, the captain said.
