Firefighters say no one home or injured at a Tulsa house fire early Tuesday.
The fire department got the call to the home in the 18400 block of 4th Street near Admiral at around 4:30 a.m.
They said a neighbor heading to work heard the crackle of a fire and stopped to investigate. Firefighters said he then started knocking on doors and a next door neighbor called the fire department.
Firefighters said when they arrived they were able to contain the fire to the garage and kitchen area, but say the rest of the home sustained heavy smoke and water damage. They said the roof over the garage collapsed as they were fighting the fire.
Firefighters rescued an uninjured dog from the home's back yard.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
