Hartshorne Police Chief, Wife Arrested On Drug-Related Complaints

An Oklahoma police chief and his wife have been arrested after law enforcement got a tip about drug activity going on at their home. 

Hartshorne Police Chief Josh Brillo and his wife Heather were arrested Sunday night by the District 18 Drug Task Force. Investigators with the Task Force say they found a small amount of marijuana at the couple's home.

Heather Brillo, 36, said the pot belonged to her, according to the director of the task force. He also said Josh Brillo was arrested because he knew what was going on but didn't do anything about it.

Josh Brillo, also 36, was released on bond. He denies any wrongdoing. Heather Brillo was arrested on a possession of a controlled substance complaint.

Investigators don't believe anyone was selling pot out of the house.
