President Obama wiped tears from his eyes as he unveiled his new executive orders on gun control.
"Every time I think about those kids it makes me mad," he said, talking about the first graders killed at Sandy Hook Elementary.
Obama said he's not waiting on Congress to take action on gun control and that he's acting on behalf of every American who never imagined their loved one would die by a bullet.
Republicans were quick to criticize Obama's new gun control initiatives, saying "his word does not trump the Second Amendment." And in Oklahoma, some think the executive order is more like a dictatorship than a democracy.

With the news that gun control changes are coming, gun sales are on the rise at one Tulsa store. Just before 2:00 on Monday afternoon, Dong's Guns, Ammo and Reloading store was packed.
Owner David Stone said his shop stays busy, but when the president talks gun control, he said there's always an increased interest.
Stone said, “People are worried, like I am, about what Obama's gonna do.”
The president said the U.S. has a frequency of mass shootings that far exceeds other countries.
Over the next few days the president will be rolling out new initiatives aimed at keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and mentally unstable - and he's using his power of executive order to do so.
“It's like being a dictator in a way,” Stone said. “Whoever's at the top says, 'forget all you people, what they want. Forget what the congressmen want. I say this is what we're doing and that's what we're doing.' That's really not right.”
With that in mind, folks like Louis Heim are stocking up on ammo while others are buying guns.
“The president's trying to slowly erode our Second Amendment rights for possession of a firearm for protection and personal use,” said Heim.
So, in a way, it's helping Stone's business; but, just as quickly, he said that could be taken away.
“The president could, theoretically, with an executive order, could put us out of business and every gun store in America out of business,” Stone said.
Obama said the recommendations are not to take the lawful right to bear arms, but ensure the wrong people don't have firearms for the wrong reasons.
But, Stone said the problem won't be fixed with stricter gun laws.
“The criminals don't get their guns legally anyway,” he said. “Enforce the laws we already have and make the punishment stronger.”
