Tulsa Veterans Day Parade Starts At 11 A.M.

Wednesday is Veterans Day and thousands are expected in downtown Tulsa for the city's Veterans Day parade.  

The parade begins at 11 a.m. at 3rd and Boston and winds its way around downtown before ending near 6th and Detroit.

Tulsa's parade is one of the biggest Veterans Day parades in the U.S.  Tulsa's VFW Post 577 has more details about the annual event on its website.

Because of the parade, a number of downtown Tulsa streets are closed until the end of the parade which is expected to be after 12:30 p.m.
