Teen Suspects Identified In Murder Near Gilcrease Expressway

Tulsa Police want the public's help in finding two suspects in a murder that happened Thursday near the Gilcrease Expressway.

Tulsa Police want the public's help in finding two suspects in a murder that happened Thursday near the Gilcrease Expressway.

Police are looking for Norman Gaines, 18, and Edwin Harris,19. Police say they may be driving a red 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche with Oklahoma tag 061 BJV.

The shooting happened at about 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 in the 2100 block of East 31st Street North.

TPD said the victim was standing outside a home when a red Chevrolet Avalanche drove up and the people inside tried to rob him of his medication. When they pulled a gun the man struggled with them and was shot, TPD said.

Police said they want to talk to Gaines and Harris about what happened. Detectives have not released the identity of the victim.
