Authorities arrested a Sand Springs man for possession of more than 100 images of child pornography.
The Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) arrested 46-year-old Mark Scott Stewart this week after an investigation started by Shawnee Police.
In a news release, the ICAC said a police detective and Stewart went to a chat room on the Internet where Stewart allegedly shared hundreds of images of child pornography. The investigation led authorities to a business in Choctaw who assisted authorities with locating Stewart at a work site in Oklahoma City.
On Tuesday, task force members arrested Stewart on a complaint of aggravated possession of child pornography and violation of Oklahoma's Computer Crimes Act. Mark Stewart was booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
