Jury selection is underway in the case against a former Tulsa County deputy charged with sexual battery and indecent  exposure. Gerald Nuckolls is accused of sexually assaulting two women while on duty last September.

The court expects opening statements to begin sometime Tuesday afternoon.

Two woman say Gerald Nuckolls showed up to their neighborhood claiming he was investigating a 911 hang up call.  One woman says Nuckolls had her get into his patrol vehicle for questioning, but instead she claims he made her rub his exposed private parts, telling her it would keep her boyfriend out of jail.

The other woman says Nuckolls pulled her dress down to see if she had on a bra and exposed himself to her. Investigators say Nuckolls admitted to the two incidents and said he engaged in some sort of sexual activity with about six more women during traffic stops or calls.

Nuckolls resigned shortly after his arrest. Last November, Nuckolls pleaded not guilty to the charges.
