Victim Identified In Murder Near Downtown Tulsa

Tulsa Police have identified the man whose body was found near downtown on Saturday.

The victim was Jeffrey Alexander, 54.

Sergeant Dave Walker said an anonymous tip them to to a residential area near Admiral and Phoenix, west of downtown, on Saturday afternoon. Walker said Alexander had been shot to death.

Walker said detectives believe the man had been killed the night before. He said police received calls from people in the area who said they heard gunshots.
