Two Arrested After Tulsa Police Chase

Police arrest a Tulsa couple after a car chase early Thursday.  

Officers said just before 2 a.m. police attempted to stop a car headed east on Archer at Lewis.  The chase ended just over a mile away when the car hit a curb at Archer and Marion.

Police said the driver, Antonio Monroy, 21, got out and ran.  Officers caught up with him and took him into custody.  

A passenger, Shiera Brumfield, 21, stayed in the car. After paramedics checked to see if she was injured, Brumfield was arrested for outstanding warrants 

Antonio Monroy was booked into the Tulsa County jail on several complaints including eluding, having no driver's license, speeding and possession of drug paraphernalia.   Jail records show both have a court appearance set for August 27.
