Police are looking for three men who stole a large amount of jewelry from a store inside Tulsa's Promenade Mall Monday evening.
Officers said just as the JC Penney store at 41st and Yale was closing, three men entered the store, walked up to the jewelry counter, smashed the glass and grabbed handfuls of jewelry, then ran out of the store.
Outside, the trio got into a black Chevy Tahoe which drove away.
Police say the store is still trying to determine how much jewelry was taken in the theft.
The three men were described as black males, all between 20 to 25 years of age and ranging in height from 5'09" to 6'02". Witnesses told police the first man wore a gray hooded sweatshirt with a tan Carhart jacket, the second man wore a black t-shirt with a jean jacket and the third man a red hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt.
Police said none of the store's employees were injured.
