Silver Alert Issued For Elderly Nowata Man

The Nowata County Sheriff's Office has issued a Silver Alert for an 81-year old man.

Deputies say Roland Callies was last seen at his home on East Cherokee in Nowata at 9 a.m. Thursday. He was wearing a plaid flannel shirt, blue jeans,khaki army boots and khaki hat.  Callies has blue eyes and gray hair.  He is 6'02" and weighs 200 pounds.

They said Callies was driving a 2005 four-door beige colored Chevy Impala with license tag 777DUT and was going fishing.  Deputies say he has a history of congestive heart failure and did not take his medication with him.

Because of his limited mobility, deputies say Callies has to fish from his car.
