Police booked a Tulsa woman into jail Thursday afternoon on complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and maiming.

Officers said they were called to a Tulsa hospital about a man who said his girlfriend had attacked him.

The victim said he and his girlfriend, Amber Ellis, 31, had been out drinking and got into an argument while walking home. He said the argument continued at their apartment and told officers Ellis stormed off into a bedroom and he fell asleep on the couch.

The victim said he was awakened by Ellis biting off his private parts, according to police. He said after fighting her off, Ellis hit him on the head with a laptop computer.

Jail records show Amber Ellis is being held on a $25,000 bond.

Police said the victim received some stitches and was released from the hospital.
