According to the affidavit, police believe Alverson used a stolen car as the getaway vehicle after shooting Douglas and Sanders. They found the car about two weeks after the killings. They say it had been burned, but they recovered a coffee cup, food and candy.
They say the surveillance video from nearby convenience stores shows Alverson buying the coffee and food on the morning of the murder. Police say Alverson's cell phone records also indicate he was in the vicinity of the murders when they happened.
Police arrested Alverson in January. He's being held without bond in the Tulsa County Jail.
Another man wanted in the case was found dead in Kansas this week.
