University of Tulsa head football coach Philip Montgomery dismissed red-shirt freshman Zachary Webb from the football team following his arrest Thursday afternoon.

Tulsa Police said Webb was arrested after TU security found the drug Ecstasy and drug paraphernalia in his dorm room.

In their report, police said security was investigating a "conduct complaint" when they located the pills in Zachary Webb's room.

Webb was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of possession of a controlled and dangerous substance, possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jail records show Webb was being held in lieu of a $12,750 bond with a court appearance set for January 22, 2015

Webb was red-shirted in 2013 and did not play during the 2014 season.
