Less than a year after getting a second chance in the battle against addiction, a former Tulsa family is involved in a Wisconsin tragedy.
The CBS affiliate in Madison Wisconsin is reporting that a mother and her two children, who recently moved there from Tulsa, were involved in a triple shooting.
Six-year-old Jaxon Slaight is dead, and his eight-year-old brother Joseph, along with their mother Morgan Slaight are hospitalized with gunshot wounds.
In April of 2014, Slaight told NewsOn6 that she was an eight-year meth addict who lost her children and her husband, but was on the road to recovery. She had reconciled with her husband Tyler Slaight, and the two moved into a new home with the help of volunteers from Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. The boys had been in foster care but were restored to their parents when they moved into their new home (last year).

Police have not yet said who did the shooting, but Tyler is not a suspect at this time.
