The city of Tulsa auctioned off two old fire stations to the highest bidders.

Thursday morning, 18 people placed bids on the first one, located next to the OSU Medical Center. In the end, OSU Tulsa had the winning bid of $135,000.

The Bridges Foundation hoped to buy the other fire station, at Pine and Lewis.

The non-profit had rented it for the past five years to serve the disabled.

They were one of 13 bidders for the afternoon, but it was Dan Buford with the winning bid of $96,000.

No word on what he'll do with the property.

We talked to the President of the Bridges Foundation, who told us, while she's disappointed, she's confident something even better will come along.
