Tulsa Police: DUI Driver Laughs On The Way To Jail

Tulsa police say a driver was run off the highway when a suspected drunk driver crashed into him not once but twice.

The driver, Willissa Harris, is in custody. In the arrest report, officers say she was laughing about it in the back of the squad car - saying she had fun and would "do it again."

Court records show that Harris has been convicted of at least two DUIs before. She was already wanted on several warrants including court costs and drug possession in the presence of a minor, records show.

Police say she rear-ended a driver twice, southbound on Highway 75 near the 41st exit at about 12:30 a.m. Monday. The second time she sent that driver off the road and into a light pole.

Police say she kept going until she went off the road, ending up on top of a cable barrier. TPD tells us they found her as she was walking away from the scene.

After a field test, they arrested Harris on DUI suspicion. TPD says neither person was hurt.
