A possible serial rapist is at large, attacking women in East Tulsa. A woman was raped Sunday night and because the attack happened in the same area as two recent rape attempts, detectives suspect it may be the same man.
After the rain the sun came out, so the woman thought it would be a nice night for a walk. She says a man in a blue jacket said "Hey" and when she turned around she saw the gun.
That's when he forced her into the woods and attacked her.
She says the man took her to an area that had a campsite, where people had been hanging out. He raped her then told her to stay put and he left. She went to the nearest neighborhood and began ringing doorbells.
That's what woke Barbara up Sunday night around 10:30. She says the woman was crying hysterically and asked her to call 911 saying she'd been raped and was cold.
Barbara wrapped the woman in an afghan and called police.
"She said that someone grabbed her behind the neck and pulled her into the field," said Barbara, a Good Samaritan.

The woman said she had tried to flag down people in cars, but no one would stop. She said she'd started her walk before dark, so she'd been in the woods quite some time.
"She was really upset and kept saying, 'Why me, why me?'"
The description she gave -- a white man in his 30s, 6 feet tall and slender -- is similar to the description two other women gave who were attacked in this same area in recent weeks.
The first victim was grabbed from behind while at her car in a church parking lot. She made noise and he left. He grabbed the second woman inside a church and was dragging her to a bathroom when she screamed and he left.
Police fear he is escalating, since this time there was a gun involved. Barbara says having a possible serial rapist near her neighborhood is nerve wracking.
"We have a security system and have it on a lot of the time during the day and always after dark, it's on," she said.
Police will be canvassing this area, but are warning all women in East Tulsa to be careful and be on the look out. If you know anything about this rapist, call 911. If you want to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
