Tulsa is fresh off of its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2003 and it appears people have taken notice of the Golden Hurricane's turnaround under Danny Manning.
ESPN's Jeff Goodman is reporting that Wake Forest is showing "significant interest" in Manning for its vacant head coaching position.
In just his second season at the helm, Manning led TU to 21-13 record this season, a first-place tie in Conference USA, the C-USA tournament title and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, where the Hurricane fell to UCLA.
The Wake Forest job opened up earlier this month when Jeff Bzdelik was forced to resign following four sub-par seasons in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Bzdelik went 51-76 with the Demon Deacons and a paltry 17-51 in ACC play.
We will keep a close eye on this story as it develops.
