East Tulsa House Badly Damaged By Early Morning Fire

A house fire near Interstate 244 and Mingo in Tulsa is under control Friday morning. It was contained to one home at 91st East Avenue and Easton.

The home was apparently vacant and being remodeled. Firefighters were concerned that high winds might endanger the neighborhood.

An EMSA paramedic tells News On 6 that there were no injuries. Firefighters were still putting out hot spots at 7 a.m.

Traffic was impacted by the number of emergency vehicles responding to the house fire.
