A man is recovering in a Tulsa hospital after police officers find him outside a home with a stab wound to the neck late Tuesday.
Tulsa Police were called to the home in the 700 block of South 49th West Avenue at 11:45 p.m.
Officers believe an argument over a woman led to the stabbing.
"Witnesses say the suspect and victim had known each other and that there was some dispute over a woman," said Tulsa Police Sgt. Michael Brown.
Officers say Rodney Long, 37, was arrested.
The victim was taken by EMSA to the hospital and after surgery, police say he was listed in critical condition.
Long was booked into Tulsa County jail on a complaint of assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Jail records show Long has a court appearance set for January 8.
