A thriving Tulsa business celebrated a big move Friday.
L-3 Aeromet moved its operations from Jones Riverside Airport to Tulsa International. The move means a lot more testing space and a larger development lab.
Company leaders say the move was essential to stay competitive in the aerospace industry.
"The aerospace business in Tulsa has been great for a long time, going back to the '20s, and it's great to be a part of it and take it into the next millennium," said Vice President Gary Ball.
L-3 Aeromet's previous location only had space for three planes, but their new facility at TIA has an additional two hangers.
