A Bartlesville woman was arrested after her husband was found stabbed to death. Police arrested Stacy Ann Thompson, 33, on a first-degree murder complaint early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of Southwest Maple at 1:48 a.m. April 7, according to a news release from Bartlesville Detective Captain Jay Hastings.

They found the body of Bobby Richard Thompson, also 33, in the front yard of the residence.

Police are waiting for official reports from the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner's Office in Tulsa where the body was transported. Hastings said formal charges are expected to be filed with the Washington County District Attorney's Office later in the week.
