The University of Tulsa College of Law is ranked among the top 100 law schools in the nation for the second year. TU Law was ranked 86th by U.S. News and World Report's study of best graduate schools.
The magazine assessed 194 accredited law schools. Tulsa Law has moved up in the rankings 61 spots during the past four years, according to a news release.
The university attributes the improvements to its efforts to attract qualified applicants, aligning curriculum with the practical realities of the market and providing professional experiences for students during their education process.
"Thanks to the collective efforts of our admissions and professional development offices, faculty, alumni network, and students, we have continued to excel at a time of mounting pressure on law schools and the legal job market," said Janet Levit, Dean of the TU College of Law.
The TU College of Law has a total enrollment of 325 students and a student to faculty ratio of 11:1, the release states.
