Tulsa's Wright Earns Second Straight C-USA Freshman Of The Week Honor

After scoring 21 points to lead Tulsa to a 101-92 triple overtime victory over Houston on Saturday, forward D'Andre Wright was named Conference USA Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Wright, a native of Lawton, Okla., took over for the Golden Hurricane in the extra periods, scoring 14 of the team's 31 overtime points. He made 8-of-11 field goals and pulled down seven rebounds in the game, and made 5-of-6 field goals and all four free throw attempts during the overtime periods.

The Golden Hurricane (14-11, 6-5 C-USA) returns to action Wednesday when it plays host to East Carolina (14-10, 5-6 C-USA) at 7 p.m.
