News On 6 Rowing Team Takes First At Celebrity Row-Off

The Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors held its annual Row-A-Thon fundraiser to raise money for equipment and traveling to regattas.

Many of the kids end up getting scholarships to row in college.

The club also held a "Celebrity Row-Off" for all of Tulsa's TV stations. Tess Maune, Terry Hood, Charlie Hannema and Lacie Lowry represented News On 6 and won the women's race. Lacie Lowry had the overall top row for women with 268 meters in one minute.

Tess Maune was close behind with 266 meters, and anchor Terry Hood rowed 243 meters in one minute. Hannema finished with 285 meters in one minute.
