A Bartlesville man is in the Washington County jail after he reportedly threatened to kill a judge and an attorney.
Lance Booth, 50, is being held on a charge of threatening to perform an act of violence.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed with the court, Booth named Washington County Judge Curtis DeLapp and Bartlesville attorney Mark Kane as two people he wanted to kill.
Booth told a medical center employee that he "had been railroaded to prison by his attorney Mark Kane and Judge Delapp and was forced to serve 9 years in prison."
Booth went on to tell the employee, "He would just take these people out – then kill himself."
Booth has numerous convictions in Washington County for arson, DUI and distribution of a controlled and dangerous substance, but none calling for prison time of 9 years and he was not sentenced by Judge Delapp.
He was released from prison in May 2009. Booth's bond is set at $750,000.
