Bixby Native To Race In NASCAR Nationwide Series

Tanner Berryhill will make his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut Friday in Richmond, Virginia.

Tanner Berryhill, grandson of Chili Bowl founder Bob Berryhill, will make his NSACAR Nationwide Series debut Friday, sponsored by several local companies.

The 18-year-old Bixby, Okla. native will drive the No. 24 New Gulf Resources Chevrolet Impala in the Nationwide Series 250 at Richmond International Speedway. Excel Therapy Specialists and AmericaCachAdvance.com will join New Gulf Resources in sponsoring the car.

In addition to the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Berryhill has also competed in the ARCA Racing Series, the CARS Pro Cup Series, ASA Late Models, the United States Auto Club and has seven starts in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Series.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series 250 at Richmond will drop the green flag at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and can be seen on ESPN2.
