A man who robbed a Tulsa bank Friday afternoon was arrested a few minutes later.
Just before 1 p.m. Tulsa Police say a man entered the Arvest Bank branch at 34th and Peoria. After getting money from the teller, the man ran out of the bank and got into a car and drove away.
No one was hurt.
Police Sgt. Brandon Watkins says shortly after putting out a description of the man and the car, an officer spotted the car in the 4300 block of South Cincinnati. The car was stopped and the man inside was taken into custody.
Meanwhile, police are looking for a man who robbed an Arvest Bank branch at 15th and Utica just after 8 a.m.
Offices say a man entered the bank lobby and waited in line before handing a teller a note. After getting the money, the man ran out the front door and into a neighborhood nearby.
Tulsa Police say other bank employees didn't know the robbery was taking place.
No one was hurt.
The man is described as a black male, 35 to 45 years old, 6' to 6'3" tall and weighing 140 pounds. He was wearing a baseball cap with the label Champion in front, and a gray shirt.
Police released two surveillance pictures of the man in the second robbery who remains at large.
