Sapulpa Home Destroyed By Fire Early Tuesday

A vacant house in Sapulpa burned to the ground early Tuesday morning.

Sapulpa Fire got the call just after 3 a.m.  By the time firefighters arrived at the home it was already destroyed, so firefighters worked to keep the fire from spreading to other nearby houses.

Fire officials say the wind was a factor and despite their efforts, flames did cause minor damage to two nearby homes.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The home was being used for storage. No one was injured.
