TULSA, Oklahoma -- Wednesday, the Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College donated thousands of dollars worth of instruments to Tulsa Public Schools.
"If we didn't have this type of situation going, there'd be no music. And that would be a little bit of nothing," said Lee Smith, donor.
"I know that there are instruments lying around in Tulsa (uh) in closets, tucked away in storage spaces and, let's dig them out and let's give them to Tulsa Public Schools," said Pattie Bowman, donor.
Signature Symphony musicians have also been volunteering their time in TPS classrooms to teach music to young children.
