Car Nose Dives Into Ground Off Tulsa's IDL

TULSA, Oklahoma -- Drivers on the IDL were doing double takes as they drove past a very unusual sight: a car standing up, nose first into the ground.

The vehicle is just off the side of the 7th Street Exit off U.S. Highway 75. A News On 6 photographer on the scene said the driver is up and walking around.

Troopers say the driver was southbound on Highway 75 when he went up an embankment, struck a wall and ended up face down in the ground. Troopers say the man apparently didn't realize he was in an exit lane.

The driver was checked out by EMSA, but appears to have suffered no injuries.
