TULSA, Oklahoma -- The 14th Annual Art of Barbeque cook-off contest continues Saturday in downtown Tulsa. All proceeds benefit the Art & Humanities Council of Tulsa.
It's a new location for the cook-off which has been held at the OU Schusterman Center for several years.
Gates open at ONEOK Field at 11 a.m. Admission is $2, and taster kits can be purchased for $10. No taster kits will be sold after 1 p.m.
Vote for your favorite barbeque in the People's Choice Competition. A total of $10,000 will be awarded to the winning chefs in different categories. The awards ceremony will be between 3 and 4 p.m. at the refinery deck.
The winner of the competition will represent Oklahoma in the National Championship Cook-off In October in Kansas City. Fifty teams were signed up to compete.
