TULSA, Oklahoma – Despite a slow start, the East Central Cardinals were able to pick it up and overcome the Memorial Chargers by a score of 69-57.
On Tuesday night at East Central, Memorial came out of the gates hot; they held an early 12-6 lead.
But the momentum began to shift in the opening period when Cardinal Avery Wise hit a three from the corner to pull East Central within three points. East Central would roll to a 12-point victory.
The Cardinals are back in action on Thursday, when they will host Webster. The Chargers’ next game is on Thursday in Joplin, Missouri, where they will begin play in the Kaminsky Classic.
