Beggs Beats Verdigris, 55-24

The Demons beat the Cardinals to move on to the semifinals, facing Kingfisher in round three.

BEGGS, Oklahoma -- The Beggs Demons will move on to the third round of the playoffs after beating the Verdigris Cardinals 55-24.

Beggs took a commanding 41-10 lead by half, with quarterback Ramsey Hamilton connecting with Zach Eggleston on the first two touchdowns. The Demons, now 8-4, will move on to face the Kingfisher Yellowjackets (8-3).

The Demons’ Kenny Devilbiss scored the two additional touchdowns in the second half, while Hamilton completed a seven-yard run for Beggs.

The Cardinals’ Tanner Smith scored all three touchdowns for Verdigris as they fell out of the playoffs, ending their season at 9-3.
