OKLAHOMA CITY – The Bristow Pirates won their second consecutive game Friday, taking down defending state champion Star Spencer 27-6.
The Pirates (3-2, 2-0) remained undefeated in district play after squeaking past Little Axe 27-26 last week. Meanwhile, the Bobcats (1-4, 1-1) have struggled out of the gates without most of the stars that took them to a 4A state title last year.
Bristow will move on to face Prague (1-4, 1-1) next week, while Star Spencer will play Perkins-Tryon (5-0, 2-0).
