Oklahoma Sports StaffEL RENO, Oklahoma – The Woodward Boomers won their season opener 26-13 over the El Reno Indians Friday.
The victory marked the Boomers’ first season-opening win since 2002. They will host a team from Garden City, Kansas, next Friday. The Indians will move on to face Chickasha the same night.
