Sooners to Hold Walk-On Football Tryouts

NORMAN, Oklahoma – The University of Oklahoma football team will hold a walk-on tryout Wednesday, Feb. 9 at the Everest Indoor Center.

The check-in time for the open tryout is 4:15 p.m.

To be eligible to participate, candidates must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 undergraduate hours at OU for the spring 2011 semester and meet eligibility standards.

Pre-registration and pre-tryout forms are available at BobStoops.com/walk-on-tryouts and all forms must be completed in advance of the tryout.

If interested, fill out the online form and submit it. In addition, print and complete the medical form and bring it with you to the tryout. Finally, it is also required that applicants complete the liability form also provided on the site and submit it to the Athletics Compliance Office at the north end of the football stadium.

Registration will close on Monday, February 7 at 6 p.m.
