OKLAHOMA CITY -- New Thunder guard Daequan Cook visited the Thunder’s Youth Basketball Camp in Oklahoma City Tuesday, his first public appearance as a member of the team.
Cook was acquired in June from the Miami Head in exchange for the 32nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Oklahoma City added the third-year guard as part of their moves this offseason to add depth and perimeter shooting to its backcourt.
The Thunder Youth Basketball Camps are five-day camps that help boys and girls develop basketball skills and build character through teamwork.
