TULSA, Oklahoma -- The names of the two Tulsans killed in a weekend motorcycle accident have been released.

Police say Albert Winter and Wanda Lou McGhee were killed when their bike's tire lost air pressure on the Broken Arrow Expressway near 129th East Avenue on Saturday, April 30, 2011.

Officers say the two were thrown from the motorcycle. Winter was hit by a Jeep as he was trying to get up.

Investigators say there was nothing the Jeep driver could have done.

Friends of the victims told The News On 6 at the scene that Winter was an experienced rider and a U.S. Veteran who was giving the McGhee a ride home at the request of her husband.
