UNDATED -- A Green Country school is a little greener with the help of some new school buses.
Liberty Public Schools used the Oklahoma Clean Diesel Grant Program to help with half of the purchase.
"They've been able to replace four old dirty school buses with four brand new clean new emissions standards school buses," said Steve Thompson, Executive Director of the Department of Environmental Quality.
The new buses won't just cut down on pollution; they'll also save on fuel and cut down on engine wear and tear by reducing the time the bus idles.
