TULSA, OK -- The main commercial runway strip at the Tulsa International Airport is back open after being shut down for nearly an hour-and-a-half. The runway had been shut down temporarily so a small, corporate plane could make repairs.
The small twin engine jet blew two tires on its main landing gear when landing at Tulsa International Airport just after 3 p.m. It re-opened about 4:30 Thursday afternoon.
The airport remained open while the runway was closed.
